TET is referred as Teacher Eligibility Test, which is introduced by the Government of India. This TET entrance exam is mandatory for candidates who want to work in the government teacher job. TET exam is conducted in two levels, which are Central Level and State level. Central level means central government will conduct the TET exam, so it is referred as CTET (Central TET). State level means government in all state will conduct their own TET exam, which is referred by many states name like TNTET (Tamil Nadu TET), APTET (Andhra Pradesh TET), KTET (Kerala TET), etc. Even though candidates are working as teacher, they must to clear this TET exam.
Validity period of certificate of TET and Period of conducting the TET Exam
If vacancies are there for faculties in the government teacher job they will announce the TET exam for the candidates. This exam conducted once in every. For Central TET the validity of TET certificate will for 7 years and for State level TET, the certificate period will be validate for 5 years. Candidates who are all qualified already they can undergo this exam once again to improve their scores.
TET EXAM For 2019
Conducting this examination is become compulsory for recruiting the Teachers in all states of India. They recruit the teachers for government faculties in Lower primary level (class I to V), Upper primary level (VI to VIII) and Secondary School Teacher (class X to XI). Candidates who are preferred to work as a government teacher they will write the TET Exam. Candidates qualified with 60% in TET exam is consider as the pass mark in TET exam. TET certificated is awarded to all successful candidates in TET Exam. The validity period of this TET Certificate for all categories is maximum 7 years.
TET Exam Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for TET Exam, candidates should have these criteria which is specified below,
Age limit: Candidate age should not be less than 18 year and not exceed 40 years.
Education Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor in Education and Elementary Education in diploma.
Exam Structure:
For TET Exam we have two papers which are paper-I and paper – II. This exam is the multiple choice questions. Time duration to complete the Exam is 3 hrs.
Paper – I:
Language – I (Tamil or other language I)- 30 questions, Mathematics – 30 questions English – 30 questions Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions, and Environmental studies – 30 question. It is totally have 150 questions for 150 marks Paper – II:
Language – I (Tamil or other language I) – 30 questions, Mathematics – 30 questions English – 30 questions, Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions and 60 questions for mathematics, science, social studies. It is also totally have 150 questions for 150 marks.
